Why are BLT’s AMD training prices less than other training providers?

BLT continues to offer top-quality, world-class AMD training – the exact same content other trainers provide.

How is BLT able to offer training for less?

BLT has been teaching Xilinx (now AMD) classes since the early 1990s and set the industry standard for teaching Xilinx. Up until 2020 BLT offered all training in person in our exclusive training region. We had a network of training centers up and down the East Coast, as well as a fleet of machines for labs and infrastructure in place to host those in-person classes. Our students raved about our amazing lunches. Of course, in 2020 we shifted all training online for the safety of our students and instructors and began teaching nationally online. In 2021, we realized that online training would be the main mode of AMD education for the foreseeable future. Sure, students don’t get to enjoy those lunches anymore, but they do get to learn from the comfort of their home or office. So, when we shifted our infrastructure, we adjusted our pricing.

Why?

Well, supporting physical infrastructure for in-person training costs more than the cost for our online training studios located here at BLT Headquarters. A lot more. We didn’t think it was fair to our Clients to still be charging the same price as in-person training when the cost to BLT was so much less. We decided to pass the savings down to our Clients and students. This is a win-win situation.

What’s more, teaching online means that we’re also able to ensure that online classes are always confirmed. It takes a lot to stand up an in-person class, which is why there is a minimum student requirement. This meant classes would get canceled if the minimum number of students didn’t register. But that’s just not the case online. We can run a class, even with just one student.
