As a Technical Solution Manager at BLT, you will be part of a team that owns the full sales cycle for our custom electronics engineering design services, from lead discovery and account development through quote/service agreement creation and relationship-building all the way to purchase order. You will act as the primary commercial and technical bridge between prospective and existing clients and BLT’s engineering teams, understanding the needs of our clients and converting them into clear, compelling proposals while nurturing long-term partnerships that drive repeated and expanded business. This is a high-impact, client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives on building trusted relationships in the electronics design space and closing services design wins.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive lead discovery through proactive outreach (calls, email, events, and marketing activity follow-up) and qualify inbound opportunities to build a robust and stable pipeline of high-potential accounts.
- Own day-to-day account development and relationship management for assigned prospects and clients, serving as the primary point of contact and keeping BLT top-of-mind.
- Conduct discovery and technical scoping conversations to capture potential customer requirements, pain points, and success criteria; coordinate next steps and solicit internal technical input.
- Develop accurate quotes, statements of work, and service agreements in collaboration with engineering, project management, and leadership—aligning scope, schedule, and pricing to BLT’s process-driven, on-time/on-budget delivery model.
- Advance opportunities through the full sales cycle, building trust and momentum that culminates in signed purchase orders.
- Identify expansion and cross-sell opportunities (new projects, additional capabilities such as team augmentation, design modernization, or specialized “hard problem” solutions) within existing accounts.
- Respond to RFPs/RFQs and ensure seamless handoff from sales to project kickoff.
- Maintain rigorous CRM discipline—tracking contacts, activities, opportunities, and forecast accuracy with high data quality.
- Monitor client satisfaction on active engagements, surface potential risks early, and help resolve them to protect relationships and enable future business.
- Continuously deepen knowledge of BLT’s full capabilities, target industries and the competitive landscape.
- Travel periodically to meet clients face-to-face and strengthen relationships.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of B2B sales or lead management experience with a proven track record of managing and growing relationships that generates significant annual services revenue.
- Direct experience selling engineering or design services, particularly turnkey electronic design, FPGA/SoC development, embedded systems, or PCB design.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage comfortably with engineers, program managers, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to capture requirements accurately, write clear follow-ups, and contribute to technical proposals.
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills; comfortable managing multiple accounts, concurrent opportunities, and deadlines.
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Genuine interest in (and aptitude for) learning complex technical concepts related to FPGA/SoC design, high-speed digital, RF, embedded software, and related domains.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed for key accounts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical/business field is a plus.
- U.S. citizenship required.
